the valentines post

recent survey says 55 per cent of people believe in love at first sight.

this is either a painful reminder that we watch way too many movies, or a pitiful reflection on our societies definition of love.

i don't think it's possible to love somebody without knowing them well. then again, maybe i'm just a cynical bastard.

I think it is more like at first sight you might think that you COULD love them. you can't possibly actually love them in an instant.

According to all the reality shows like the batchelor appearently lots of people fall in and out of love very easily. But i do believe there is such a thing as instant attraction which can lead to love at first sight especially if you click with them right away.

I mean if you spotted someone from across the room that you thought was attractive and then you went to talk to them and ended up having one of the best nights of your life, then i would consider that love at first sight. You know the feeling that you never want the night to end cuz that person is the coolest and nicest person you have ever met. The only thing that kills love is reality haha thats when you start calculating and judging whether they have a good job, enough ambition, etc.

I believe in love at first sight. maybe not the deep rooted unconditional love but definately other forms of that word.
