I read the Fountainhead over my last vacation, which was perhaps an indicator of how much free time I had while in Asia, but I digress.
The protagonist is a completely uncompromising human being. He is made to be a virtuous dude, no doubt, by Mrs. Rand.
The problem is, I'm not entirely sure there's such thing as non-compromising beings in this world.
Or at least, I've yet to meet one?

I will engage in an intelligent discussion with you about this book, after i read it...its been on my shelf for i think 6 months. might be another 6 later before i start haha. i have a feeling i won't like it as much as atlas shrugged though, unless it has the same brainwashing effects.
i also havent had time to read this book so i read the quick version on wikipedia. It doesnt sound as interesting as atlas shrugged purely due to the subject matter but I'm sure its a good book. Perhaps i'll opt for books on tape and listen to it on a road trip or something I'm pretty sure i wont be able to bring myself to actually read it for years.
